"Emoji" here means any visual expression: faces, characters, objects, symbols, illustrations, animations, reactions, and digital personalities. "Army" means a community united by expression, not anything military. On Emoji.army, the emojis people create, share, collect, and buy are called "Expressions": they are still emojis, and Expressions is their name on the platform.

Not to be confused with: Emoji.army is not a YouTube, gaming, or Fortnite channel, not a list of military or army emojis, and not connected to any channel, fandom, or group with a similar name.

## More than emojis. A new home for digital expression.

We're building a place to create, customize, share, and discover original expressions: characters, reactions, symbols, and animations that don't already exist everywhere. Made by people, for everyone.

## Express yourself beyond the keyboard

Emoji.army connects a social feed, a creation studio, and a marketplace of original work. Standard keyboard emojis are welcome in social posts. The marketplace sells only original custom creations and never resells or repackages standard keyboard emojis or other companies' emoji artwork.

## The expression cube: six faces

1. Social Feed (planned, stage 1): text, standard keyboard emojis, original creations, images, and collections; likes, comments, reposts, shares, follows, profiles, discovery, and personalized feeds.
2. Creation Studio (planned, stage 2): AI-assisted and visual creation with colors, shapes, styles, facial expressions, backgrounds, transparency, and variations. Build consistent expression sets around one character. No coding required.
3. Digital Marketplace (planned, stage 1): preview, purchase, collect, and download original designs, packs, characters, animations, symbols, and reactions. At first everything is made and managed by Emoji.army and labeled "Creations by Emoji.army". Community creators come later. Nothing is for sale today.
4. Creator Economy (planned, stage 3): independent creators publish, build audiences, sell collections, and receive eligible compensation. Not open today: no third-party selling, payouts, or royalties.
5. Universal Expression (planned, stage 4): use compatible creations beyond the site in supported keyboards and messaging apps. Requires apps, integrations, and approvals from other companies. No universal compatibility is promised.
6. Creative Code Studio (planned, stage 4): code editor, live preview, and a secure isolated sandbox to build expressions, and even your own logos, with SVG, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Canvas, and WebGL.

## File formats

Future downloads: PNG, WebP, GIF, APNG, and SVG. SVG only comes from genuine vector artwork.
